Eligibility For B.D.S. Programme

For BDS Admission no candidate shall be allowed to the dental curriculum of first year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course unless they fulfill the following criterias:
  • She/he shall be a minimum age of 17 years on, or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the BDS course.
  • She/he must have passed 10 + 2 Examination with minimum 50% marks in Physics-Chemistry-Biology (PCB) and passed in English subject.
  • Candidates must have satisied NEET eligibility criteria and qualify NEET exam.
Duration of course: The under graduate dental training program leading to BDS degree shall be of  4+1 years with minimum of 240 teaching days in each academic year. During this period  the student shall be required to be engaged in full-time academics.
